Benefits of Reusable Pads
- Cloth pads permit air flow because they are made of cotton, thereby reducing sweating, irritation and possible abrasion.
- Contain no unhealthy chemicals.
- Cloth pads have wings that snap into place, no synthetic adhesive as used with disposable pads.
- Each pad has a Polyurethane Laminate (PUL) just above the layer that is in contact with the panty and which allows breathing but prevents leakage.
- Reusable cloth pads tend to stay fresher than disposable pads, because their fabric breathes which allows moisture to evaporate. Less moisture means fewer bacteria to produce unwanted smell.
- Reduced challenge of managing waste created by of millions of disposable sanitary options.
Save money by not having to buy pads each and every month. Most cloth pads last 3-5 years if they are properly cared for.

The Holder has 2 straps at both ends (see photo) to hold the detachable cotton cloth inserts which are in contact with the body. These inserts are of varying layers and can also be replaced by any cotton cloth strips as available with the beneficiary.
The holder has snap buttons that hold it firmly against the panty.
Care of Jodo Pads
Soak the pads in warm water and wash with hands. Do not use brush. Rinse in cold water until the water runs clear and then gently rub them to get them clean. Use any detergent. Ideally, dry in the sun.
