Why Rural India

Rural India consists of about 650,000 villages, inhabited by about 850 million consumers making up for about 70 per cent of population and contributing around half of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). There is a separate Ministry of Rural Development, whose vision and mission is sustainable and inclusive growth of rural India through a multipronged strategy for eradication of poverty by increasing livelihoods opportunities, providing social safety net and developing infrastructure for growth.

Making even a small difference in rural India gives immense satisfaction. Our Mission covers this vast and diverse expanse of our country and offers all donors the pleasure and happiness of contributing where it matters.

Our Focus is Rural India and our 2-Fold Mission is to

  • Gift Reusable Sanitary Pads to Needy Schoolgirls &
